Prayer Requests

Submit a prayer request and we will pray for you. Your prayer request will be added to our weekly bulletin (anonymously is fine) and our entire congregation will be praying for you!

Blessing Box

The Blessing Box a neighborhood, grassroots effort of neighbor helping neighbor with food and other non-perishables available to their neighbors in need. Take what you need and leave what you can. It is located in front of our Halstead Hall (near the garden).

HomeFirst

HomeFirst is a leading provider of services, shelter, and housing opportunities to the homeless and those at risk of homelessness in Santa Clara County. They serve more than 6,000 adults, veterans, families, and youth each year at nine locations. Good Samaritan provides donations and periodically helps by meal preparation and serving.

Santa Maria Urban Ministries

Santa Maria provides emergency food, clothing, homework center, adult learning classes, leadership programs, summer camps, help for the homeless. Every August and December, we support children by donating funds to provide backpacks filled with supplies and Christmas presents from our giving tree.

National Night Out

National Night Out

National Night Out is held the first Tuesday in August. Join over 38 million neighbors across more than 16 thousand communities around the nation for National Night Out, an annual community building campaign that promotes police/community partnerships and neighborhood spirit to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

National Night Out is designed to:

  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships
  • Heighten crime prevention awareness
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local crime prevention effort
  • Build connections within the community and get to know your neighbors

Relay For Life/American Cancer Society

Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser cancer walk for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in more than 5,200 communities and 20 countries who give of their time and effort because they believe it’s time to take action against cancer.
